Happy St.Valentine's Day 2012

Holy crap.
Boy, have I improved since this time last year! I mean, it was this time last year that I drew "Happy St.Valentine's Day" for 2011! Now, that feels like a millennia ago...
I mean, my water-colouring ability, my manga-drawing ability (especially drawing people on profile), my background-drawing ability, and nearly everything else, has improved by sooo much! Even my constistency in the characters has improved. They have just changed sooo much since last year.
Even their story has changed sooo much; that is what makes it feel like a millennia ago...okay, I'll stop rambling, now.
I've decided to make it an annual thing that I draw a "Happy St.Valentine's Day" picture: every single year...well, at least until I finish writing the stories.
So, to all you dreamers, secret admirers, and valentines out there, Dawnedrian and Vladimir have just one thing to say:
"Happy St. Valentine's Day."

Medium: Jasart watercolour pencils and FaberCastell pigmented-ink various-sized felt-tip pens on Canson 110gsm cartridge paper. Drawn/painted with love (when I say "painted", I am refering to how adding water to a thick layer of watercolour pencils makes it look and feel like paint!).

PS Bragging rights to anyone who can correctly guess where this picture is set. One clue: it starts with "Lake".
